Located in the heart of London’s bustling Covent Garden neighborhood is the opulent yet inviting Rosewood London. Enter through the carriageway on High Holburn to a spacious cobblestone courtyard oasis—the hotel’s main entrance. Housed in a former Edwardian mansion, the hotel’s facade is breathtaking. Originally constructed in 1912 the building’s defining feature is found on the inside, where a seven-storey Renaissance-style marble staircase soars toward an elliptical dome at its zenith, affording guests a most welcome opportunity to take the stairs. Contemporary rooms with soaring ceilings and elongated window frames offer the comforts of home, like personal Nespresso machines, with 5-star hotel luxuries like marble bathtubs, which are found in most rooms. Make sure to order the “healthy” breakfast, consisting of an acai bowl, avocado toast, fresh pressed juice and a pot of coffee, after a busy night out on the town.
