There isn't a more iconic casual look than jeans and a t-shirt. The simplicity and versatility of the combination make it a staple for nearly every man on the planet - but that doesn't mean you have to look like every Dad-jean wearing fella you pass on the street. In fact, get rid of the Dad-jean idea altogether. Re-write this classic look with a badass henley and tailored jeans that don't need a belt to stay on straight. Don't be afraid to experiment with different colors, as long as they're neutral and blend with the other elements of your wardrobe (Hint: Bright orange pants wouldn't work here). For me, pants are the hardest piece of flash to pull off, and I recommend sticking with a more conservative color palette in this department. It will leave you with more room to get creative in areas like accessories, shoes, etc. Now throw on some brown suede beauties and you're golden. Loafers are my go-to here, but oxfords could work as well. By the time you're done, your dungaree-loving dad may think you're adopted.
