The navy and grey color combination has been a staple for me this winter. I love the versatility and interchangeability of each piece in this palette. To add a bit of character, I like to incorporate different textures like corduroy, cashmere or flannel; this is an easy way to add subtle detail to the look while still remaining practical for the cold weather.

One of the pieces I’ve been drawn to lately is the trucker jacket. A classic workwear silhouette, when constructed in a high quality corduroy fabric, it’s a great way to dress up a pair of jeans or casual tailoring. The navy jacket is easily paired with everything from grey to brown, white and even black—a testament to its endless versatility.

In this instance I chose to pair the jacket with a neutral cashmere sweater and flannel trouser combo. This allows the jacket to pop while still offering some textural contrast. The suede loafers offer a subtle contrast to the navy and grey without overpowering them, and a minimal ring and timepiece round out this laid-back look.
